REAL ESTATE PRACTICE

The New Law Center provides legal services and counsel in connection with all types of real estate questions, issues and transactions. We provide representation to individuals in the purchase and sale of residential real estate. We also serve as counsel in commercial real estate transactions and in office, retail, biotech, and high-tech leases. We assist owners and purchasers of property regarding zoning and land use issues. Our real estate attorneys help resolve real estate disputes through negotiation and collaborative law.

TRUST & ESTATES

The New Law Center works closely with individuals and families to address their needs and goals concerning the intergenerational transfer of property. We prepare estate plans, including wills, trusts and associated documents such as healthcare proxies, living wills and powers of attorney. We represent heirs and executors through all aspects of estate administration and taxation, and provide assistance to families with guardianship and conservatorship issues.

EMPLOYMENT AND WORKPLACE LAW

The New Law Center provides counsel to employers and employees in all aspects of workplace relationships. We assist clients with the negotiations and drafting of employment agreements, including confidentiality, non-competition, and work-for-hire agreements; negotiation and representation in connection with employment disputes; employee relations and misconduct issues; organizational policy development; discrimination issues; and workplace mediation and settlement counsel.

NON-PROFITS

The New Law Center assists non-profits on corporate, employment and business issues. Several firm members have worked extensively with public and non-profit entities. We provide general counsel services, including incorporations, Federal tax exemption qualifications, dissolution/liquidation, and other operational matters. We work with Boards and managers on policy development and strategic planning for their organizations.
